Question. If During charge the upper voltage isn't reached and the voltage ends up going below the cut in set point will it stop charging?

Hi Robojax…how do you get the XH-M603 to detect and charge a battery below 5v DC? i have a 12v 7Ah UPS battery connected to the XH-M603 but it cannot detect the battery and charge even if i set the lower limit below 5vdc. I have the upper limit set to 13.7vdc. Please help me.

Later in your video, you indicated that your Charger Input was 12.8V. Is that correct? So in Canada it's 220V Wall Outlet to the charger that was putting out 12.8 Volts. Is that correct? My unit didn't work at all. Input to HW-632 was 19.33V from a Laptop Charger. When I connected to an 18AH Battery, I didn't get any reading on the meter whatsoever. Any thoughts?

The spec sheet on Amazon said the Input to HW-632 needed to be 10-30V DC, so I used a Laptop Charger, 19.33V DC Output, for the Input to HW-632. My HW-632 did not turn on. Your diagram indicates a 220V Charger Input. Please describe your 'Charger Output' voltage. HW-632 website description says the Input needs to be 10V-30V DC.

Hi, nice to greet you, I liked your video, but I have a question, could you clarify it for me? I have a transformer that in vacuum I measure 17 volts RMS but after I rectify it and filter it goes up to 24 approximately and that is correct because the capacitor that I am using is charged to the peak volt, now when I connect two lamps of 12v / 130w each One, the voltage drops to approximately 13.6v, the current that I measured consumption of these two lamps is 15.7 amps, could you then use this voltage source to inject it to the xh-m603 / 12-24v module,?
the battery I intend to charge is 12v / 70A lead acid ..
    thanks mr,

Ahmad, interesting to see this review, thanks for sharing. However, I feel as important to share that LeadAcid battery voltages you selected are extremely low for charging. In fact, Default values (seen after the reset you made) are more adequate.
Lead acid should be recharged as soon as voltage drops below ~12.5V, depending of battery technology and “C” rate of discharge.
Obviously, this On-Charging voltage is for 25°C, but in cold climate (🥶 as in Canada) or hot climate (🥵 as here in Brazil), operating and charging voltages should drift. “Battery University” website explains this very well.

About Relay: if it is commuting output charging side, or from Solar powered panels, it would make 10A or C/10 ~ C/20 = up to 100~200 Ah batteries.
If relay switches the Primary side of an AC powered charger, as “plan B”, the Output Amp rating could be even bigger.

About Solar panels: they initially behave at coarse “Constant Voltage”, then as as “Current Limited” power supply (like CV/~CC). If properly sized, they provide a Maximum “short circuit – Isc” current.
Maybe even lithium batteries could be charged, if Isc would be a safe C rate for them. However, additional caution should be considered, because Voltage reference variations – in time (weeks) and caused by temperature – were not evaluated and might be to much for the precise voltage cutoff required by Lithium-based batteries.

Useless unless it controls current as well! It also needs battery to be fully discharged before it can be recharged.
A XL4015 module seems a much better choice as controls voltage and current.
