Say if i want to couple the open headers with stock mufflers, would that be possible? Will there be a difference in power and marginally better sound? I just don't want to attract the cops here in India(who notice just the mufflers if found suspicious) and installing just the open headers seems like a better bet

What are the impacts on the engine if we install a free flow exaust ?

Please let me know the positive and negative sides.

Love that you're willing to share info that others may think would harm their business (I mean showing us how to DIY). I reckon in a lot of cases it shows DIY'ers where their limits are and that if you want it done properly get the shop to do it.

Would like to hear the difference the various exhaust options over stock. I presume the headers you make are single wall and so will discolour? (seen on the site they're race only anyway).

What is your experience on just deleting the muffler on a stock bike? I've read different views. increase HP, lose HP, wreck valves. What is the truth?

+Revelry Cycles / Royal Enfield Sydney My interest is purely in reducing weight while hopefully not making the bike any louder or worst case, not much louder than it already is. I don't need any more power. Can you tell me what the S&S stainless steel street legal silencer and your exhaust pipe combination weigh and how many dB louder would that be than the stock standard RE system (with dB killers installed in the S&S silencers if available) ? Thanks for the video. Best regards. Edit: looks like this might be a double post, sorry, that was not my intention.

Could you please shed some light into this " let the bike idle for 13 minutes so the ecu will adjust to changes hokuspokus " is that a triumph thing only, or RE also ?

Hey guys! I own a 2019 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. I have a thing for making minor mods on my motorcycle after doing a thorough research. It was during one of those researches when I stumbled upon your video about the air filter system. And, I'm so glad it happened!

Why? Well, there is a plethora of content available for almost everything technical about motorcycles. But finding you guys sharing knowledge keeping the 650 Twins as the foundation was really exciting for me! Your videos not just helped me understand the working of various motorcycle systems in general but also made me know my GT 650 in a better way.

I really like your content, the way you guys explain things in detail using actual parts and not just animations, the whole stepwise process, and your suggestions.

Again, I am so glad I found your channel! Keep making such videos, cheers!

Wow! Congrats on the video, very natural and informative. I've been looking for more information about this road legal kit from S&S that includes the replacement of the air filter. Do you know if it exist, the kit? If so, do S&S sell the kit and do you recommend it?
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers from Portugal

Hi, I saw this episode a while back & I’m interested in purchasing the 15 inch slash cut chrome slip-on exhaust for my RE. It says on your website qt. 1, is that a set or a piece? Also, I’m from the states, will that include the shipping & handling, how long will it take, and is it safe? TY.

Hey there! Awesome channel, thank you for all the hard work you’re putting into the content! 2 questions: Can any of the OEM engine guards be installed in combination with your header pipes?; would the S&S cams void the manufacturers warranty? Planning ahead and all that 🙂

Thank you Santina and Will for the detailed description. I do own S&S and I did a lot of research before buying it. I did installed on my own after watching videos but honestly no-one talked about the gasket. I consulted S&S and got it clarified. I appreciate your time in explaining in detail installation of S&S pipes. Great stuff. Cheers 👍

Wow! You deserve my sub just for chopping up that standard system and revealing why it’s So Nasty!

5.3kg? That’s insane. A decent replacement stainless 2 into 1 system could easily save 20kg on that bike. Now I’m going to watch the rest of the vid.

Thank you both for sharing your findings. Your approach is perfect. You’re combining the perfect level of personal, solid advice and corporate offerings. You literally broke the mould.

    Ride safe
